D Post - The earth shook again, A powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake's epicenter was located in an area west of the capital Bagan and took place about 52 miles below the Earth's surface.
There were no immediate reports of serious damage. Deep quakes typically cause less damage than shallow ones.
Tremors were felt as far away as India and Thailand.
The quake came on the same day that an earthquake measuring 6.2 struck central Italy, killing dozens.
